The Assembly Band Movement is the department of pastoral care, and its purpose is to ensure each member of the local congregation is provided with proper care and discipleship.
To accomplish this task, small ministry groups convene in prayer meetings, Bible studies, and other encouraging times of fellowship. Each activity is intended to encourage and unify the believers.
Every member of each local church is important, and the Assembly Band Movement diligently labors to strengthen each one. This includes the church’s ministry. The Assembly Band Movement also honors the ministers and works to keep those who labor for us encouraged and motivated to continue the work of the Lord.
Bible Training Institute is the academic arm of The Church of God and aims to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be effective servants for Christ.
Bible Training Institute began with the mission of training people in the divine art of saving souls, and the training extends to the doctrines and practices of the Word of God. This tradition remains BTI’s guiding vision for today. The world needs strong men and women of faith now to stand up for Christ. The need for servants in the work of God is real, and through the instruction of Bible Training Institute, you can be well equipped to meet every challenge.
In addition to our in-person schools, correspondence courses are available for distance learning.

Sunday School ensures every individual, from infants to the elderly, understands the saving power of Jesus Christ. Once this foundation is set we continue teaching through practical lessons and applicable studies. Operating in every local church, you have the opportunity to be a part of Sunday School no matter where you are!
Sunday School is not limited to the training in local churches. We also operate the Extension Department that ministers to shut-ins, homebound, prisoners, and others who are unable to attend.
The World Mission Department is tasked with coordinating global evangelism to reach every nation and society around the world with the message of Christ and His Church. Through these efforts, we preach the gospel of Christ, develop mature disciples for God, and train national leaders.
Christ sent us into the world to help hurting people overcome all struggles in life whether they be spiritual, physical, mental, or emotional.
Souls encounter their eternal destiny every day without knowing the love and grace of God. This unfortunate reality should burden the heart of every Christian.
The message of the Cross is not limited to a specific social class, age group, ethnicity, or era of time. It is for every culture, community, and soul. God has given each of us the responsibility to GO!
Youth ministry is more than gathering a crowd for social fellowship. Discipleship is at the heart of our youth ministry, and we encourage every young person to develop into a faithful and Spirit-filled individual. Successful Christians are those who have a heart that longs for Christ, a desire to be like Him, and a passion to spread the Good News to his or her community and peers.
We live in an ever-changing society, and young people of today's generation face much different social, moral, and ethical landscapes than those experienced by previous generations. The world is filled with sin, and it is imperative for young people to be equipped with the knowledge and wisdom of God's eternal Word.
The Victory Leaders Band is designed specifically for youth between the ages of twelve and thirty-five while the Gleaner Band ministers to kids under the age of twelve.
Without missionaries, how will the world hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ? How will they be sent? The Womens Missionary Band takes this responsibility seriously, and raises funds for both home and world missions through a variety of endeavors including World Mission Drives, mission campaigns, and Dorcas clubs.
We recognize the needs of women are vastly different today than the needs of previous generations. Women are aware of their personal needs as well as the needs of their families. The Womens Missionary Band recognizes this as the first and closest mission field and offers special ministry for women of the band. Ministry programs within the local churches serve to teach and train women to be effective women of God – Christians first, but also wives, mothers, sisters, friends – by offering answers the the most challenging questions of life.
